Golden Buddha
About This Spot
Stepping into Golden Buddha, you're greeted by a space that feels quietly familiar—a modest, unpretentious spot tucked away on Aborn Road, where the steady rhythm of a family-run kitchen colors the air. The atmosphere is relaxed rather than rushed, with a gentle hum of conversations that makes it easy to settle in and unwind. It’s a place where the simplicity of the surroundings invites you to focus on the heart of the experience: the food and the people behind it.
This is no flash-in-the-pan restaurant but a long-standing neighborhood anchor, carrying decades of stories within its walls. The humbleness of the décor hints at the focus that truly matters here—fresh, thoughtful preparation served with genuine kindness. You’ll find the menu quietly rich with comforting dishes that feel crafted to satisfy more than just hunger. Flavors come alive with a home-cooked sincerity, whether it’s the gentle warmth of a corn chicken soup or the satisfying crisp of perfectly sauced chicken.
Golden Buddha’s charm lies not in spectacle but in trust—a place where familiar dishes are elevated by careful technique and attention to detail. The pace here lets each dish arrive hot and freshly made, a welcome touch that pairs well with the friendliness of the staff who know many regular faces by name. It’s the kind of spot where you might find yourself enjoying the company of friends or family, sharing plates that invite conversation and lingering.
Though compact, the space feels intimate rather than crowded, encouraging a moment’s pause amid a busy day. It’s a genuine neighborhood retreat offering a sense of continuity and care—one that has quietly won the loyalty of those who value authenticity and warmth above all else.

Pretty small location, but the quality of food was absolutely delicious. It appears to be a family owned restaurant and has been there for over 45 years. The food was hot and fresh to order. I ordered three different plates of food which included sweet-and-sour chicken, Mongolian, beef and chicken lo mein. It was really delicious. Staff was very friendly. They accept card and/or cash, which is nice because usually old-school places like this do cash only.

Friendly place with a unique ambiance. The food was taste and portions large, but at dinner it's hard to spend less than $50 even for a couple. The prices on the menu we're all about $5 more than what is shown on their website.

Ok the people complaining about this food are crazy. Take yo azz to panda! This was very good. Best I have had in awhile. Orange chicken was amazeballz! I love that the orange sause was separated so it wouldn't get soggy on the drive home. Food was cooked and ready to go on a Friday for dinner in a reasonable amount of time. Only thing I didn't like was 1 shrimp for the buda rice and 2 shrimp for the buda chow mein. Broccoli was not at all soggy. Cooked perfectly broccoli beef. I will be back! Love love the chow mein

Love this place it has been in the same place for 40 years! cozy atmosphere. Food that has excellent flavor and plenty of it. The price is very reasonable for the amount they give. I Highly Recommend Golden Buddha fried rice House Special..and the War Wonton Soup.i
